A farmer from Żuławy Wiślane on a mission to build a bridge between agricultural and climate policy with the farmer at the centre. He implements this goal through two companies: European Carbon Farmers, and in particular the MIDAS Project, and the Farm of Francesco, as well as services on the Supervisory and Advisory Boards: the Francis Economics Foundation and the Laudato Si Action Platform at the Holy See and the European Soil Mission at the European Commission.
He is educated at Hult International Business School, ESCP Europe Business School, the University of Oxford, the University of Edinburgh, and Columbia University. Mateusz was recognized by the U.S. Department of State for his leadership in the areas of farmer representation and climate action as a YTILI – the Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative – Fellow.
Mateusz was the only Polish participant in the first edition of Fratelli Tutti Political School – Pope Francis Political School. For his leadership in the field of food systems, Mateusz was invited to join the Champions Network at the UN Food Systems Summit.
