Manager with over 25 years of experience (mainly in financial institutions), specializing in investments and risk management.

For almost 20 years associated with the PZU Group, including for over 8 years he was a member of the Management Board of PZU S.A. and PZU Życie S.A. responsible for risk management. In addition, he was, among others, a member of the Management Board of TFI PZU S.A. and held managerial positions in the area of ​​finance.

He also served as a member of the Management Board of TFI BGK S.A., was the President of the Management Board of ŁSSE S.A., and was also involved in consulting activities.

He also has very extensive experience as a member of supervisory boards – he sat on the boards of companies belonging to the PZU Group, including Alior Bank S.A. PTE PZU S.A., and insurance companies, including those operating outside Poland. He was also a member of supervisory boards of entities unrelated to PZU, also listed on the WSE.

A graduate of the University of Lodz (master’s degree in law, doctoral degree in economics), MBA “Finance & Insurance” studies as well as postgraduate studies in risk management in financial institutions and in the field of business insurance.

Awarded with the Silver Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland for his activities for the development of the Polish insurance market.

Author of numerous publications in the field of finance and insurance.

His main interests outside of work are history and sports (he regularly plays tennis).
